when we setup the wordpress, it get error message:
“WordPress function wp_remote_get() test failed. Please contact your hosting provider to enable it. Status code: 404”
It makes the wordpress cannot update or download demo files.

In this case, the issue is cause by our Outgoing Connections filter blocking the connection to a remote IP. It is a feature developed to maximize the security of your web sites and prevent them from being abused by any third parties. To resolve the issue, simply allow the IP through the Outgoing Connections filter.
Here are the steps to do so:
1) Go to your control panel: Advanced -> Outgoing Connections
2) Check the IP addresses under the Recently Blocked Connections table
3) Click on the check box next to the desired IP and then click on the Add button
